If you would prefer not to have your searches logged and scrutinised by the biggest search engines you might be interested in the new Android application called DuckDuckGo which is being designed to bring back the privacy to your searches.
The new DuckDuckGo Android application has been designed to never store your search phrases or track you in any way, so even if the site or application were to be hacked no details about your searches would be available to view.
According to the DuckDuckGo apps development team the application provides the same search engine results and speeds you’d expect from one of the giant search providers without the tracking.
Other features of the new DuckDuckGo Android app include the ability to share news with you based on your searches which are not filtered by media or search out that. The Android application also includes conversion tools and auto complete.
The DuckDuckGo Android application is now available to download from the Google Play Store for free and will help you keep your searches private once more.
