Droplit is also a Bluetooth access point, providing connectivity to Bluetooth smart devices that currently rely on smartphones nearby to be controlled.”
Connectivity: The Droplit Gateway can connect to devices in 3 different ways:
– Bluetooth 4.0 (a.k.a Bluetooth Low Energy) – Droplit can connect to both its own remote control and any smart home device or sensor in the vicinity that is Bluetooth capable.
– WiFi – Droplit can connect to the outside world and devices inside your home network.
– Z Wave – With an add-on, Droplit is compatible with Z Wave devices, which control lighting settings.
