Motorola and Verizon has finally rolled out the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Motorola Droid X, which brings a range of new features to the Droid X.
It seems that on top of the new features for the Droid X, Android 2.2 Froyo has brought some extra speed to the Droid X, making full use of its 1GHz processor.
The guys over at Android Community have benchmarked the Droid X running Android 2.2, and the results seem impressive.
They ran the Quadrant benchmark on a Droid X which was running Android 2.2 Froyo and it scored 1,370, which is over 100 points more than it scored when it was running Android 2.1.
