Drivers in the market for a dual camera dash cam system, may be interested in a new kit created by SoloTech called the DriveSafe. The two camera system has been specifically designed to monitor the driver and the road in-front to create a safer driving experience for both you, your family or business fleet of vehicles.
As well as recording footage of the road in front of your vehicle the system is also equipped with a camera that is capable of monitoring your eyelids and also your face position, alerting you when your eyes are not where they’re supposed to be. Surrounded by six infrared LED lights the DriverSide camera can also monitor your facial features during the night or in low light conditions and will not disturb your vision while you drive, say its creators.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the DriverSide Camera riches this week launched via Kickstarter with the aim of raising $20,000 to go into production. “With all the facial recognition technology built into the microprocessor, the DriverSide Camera is a complete driver safety monitoring system. Don’t worry, the DriverSide Camera does not record any footage and has no internet connection“.
The DriveSafe Dual camera dash cam system is now available to back via Kickstarter with earlybird pledges available from $69 or £49, with delivery expected to take place during July 2018. “Whether you are a professional driver or go on road trips with friends, the DriveSafe monitoring system can be your best friend and life-saver. DriveSafe uses advanced programming that will alert you if your eyes close for longer than 1.2 seconds. After repeated warnings Drivesafe will even recommend pulling over to take a rest break. “ For more details jump over to the official campaign page by following the link below.
