Drivebot is a gadget that is designed to monitor your cars health, the deice is a dongle that can be plugged into the OBD-II on your car, and it can then send data to a smartphone application.
As well as being able to monitor your cars health, it can also track your driving, and suggest how you can save money on gas, it will work with vehicles from 1996 onwards and it connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
Just like what FitbitTM* do to your body, Drivebot will monitor your car’s health and alert whenever there’s a problem with your car. As a result, you can save the repair cost more than 10 times before the problem becomes more severe.
Moreover, Drivebot will keep track of your driving behaviour and tell you how to save more money on gas.
The creators of Drivebot are funding the project by IndieGoGo, and the project is already funded, there is an early adopters price for the gadget of $75 and it is expected to ship next April.
