Anne Lewis Associate Content Manager from Bethesda has today announced that the DOOM Closed Beta will start on March 31st and run until April 3rd 2016, and will be available to all those gamers that are eligible.
Those gamers that purchased Wolfenstein The New Order for PayStation 3 and 4 will be able to take part in the DOOM Closed Beta and enjoy an early taste what you can expect from the Doom multiplayer, a few weeks ahead of the game’s official May launch date.
The official launch date for the new DOOM game has been set for May 13th and will be available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC systems, the game is being created and developed by id Software. To whet your appetite ahead of the games launch check out the latest trailer below. Bethesda explains more about registering and eligibility :
To check eligibility requirements, please visit doom.com/beta. Participants will be able to try out Team Deathmatch and the recently revealed Warpath mode on two maps: Heatwave and Infernal. Be the first to check out never-before-seen weapons, armor sets, taunts and hack modules. All you have to do to access the closed beta is redeem the beta code you received with your copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order if you have not already done so. Follow the code activation instructions.
