These apps have been available for a while now and while the iPhone versions will work for iPad users, they aren’t specifically made for the iPad.
Dish Network has announced what it claims to be the world’s first DVR controller app specifically optimized for the iPad. The app is free and looks very cool. It offers full DVR control from anywhere with connectivity and supports most of the DVRs the company offers.
You can control all DVRs in your home and set programs to record. The app also allows you to delete programs, resolve conflicts, and view a 9-day program guide. You can download the app right now on the App Store.
