First unveiled back in CES 2017 at the start of the year the Digitsole Smartshoe has this week launched via Kickstarter to raise the $50,000 the development team require to take their new smart shoe, or rather smart sneaker into production.

Pledges are available from $199 offering a considerable 66% saving off the recommended retail price of $599 which will take effect in once the Kickstarter campaign has completed in 35 days. The developers of the Digitsole Smartshoe explain more about its inspiration and features.
