As the launch date for the up-and-coming Bungie Destiny launch date edges ever closer to September 9th, 2014. Bungie has revealed this week that Destiny players will not be able to trade weapons or gear with friends or other players.
While answering numerous questions from gamers patiently waiting for the highly anticipated Destiny game to finally launch. Gamer Jackbandit asked the question : “Is it going to be possible to trade items in the full game?”
To which Bungie replied : “Only with your enemies. Trade your ammo for their loot. You know the best way to deliver ammo to a Cabal Centurian? You’ll figure it out, and it’s tons of fun.
As for swapping irons in the Tower? Nope. We want you to earn ‘em. You should be able to tell a badass story for every sweet jewel in your arsenal. Once you earn them, the various Guardians under your account will be able to trade them, but weapons belong to the players who acquire them through action and bravery.”
If that news has delivered a bit of a sucker punch to your plans within the new Destiny game which will be launching on September 9th, 2014 and will be available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
