PlayStation gamers patiently waiting for the official launch of the new open world zombie apocalypse adventure Days Gone, can now enjoy the action as it officially launches today April 26th, 2019. Created by developers Bend Studio the single player action adventure has been created using the Unreal Engine 4 and offers a survival horror game set in a post-apocalyptic world.
The game takes place two years after a global pandemic occurred which killed almost all of humanity, and transformed millions of others into “Freakers”, mindless nocturnal zombie-like creatures that are quickly evolving. Throughout the world huge hordes of zombies roam the wastelands. Check out the launch trailer below to learn more about what you can expect from them.
“The Hordes of Days Gone flow like water and kill swiftly. Bend Studios shares how they created this killer tide of Freakers, and share tips on how to take them down. Confronting hordes — from small to enormous — is one of the most satisfying experiences of Days Gone. Yes, clearing out the map, earning experience, and finding new resources are big incentives for wiping out hordes, but the sense of accomplishment is unparalleled.”

It’s about how, even when confronted with such enormous tragedy, hope never dies. In addition to hostile drifters, marauders, and militia, Deacon must face a wilderness overrun by dangerous and evolving Freakers. As with any living creature, Freakers eat, drink, hibernate and build nests, behaviors that Deacon must learn and adapt to.”
