SH IP has launched an advanced consumer grade DLP 3D printer this week, in the form of the D2K Insight which has been specifically designed to provide ultra high resolution 3D printing to consumers for under $600.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the features and functionality of the high-performance personal DLP 3D printer which has taken to Kickstarter this week to raise the funds it requires to go into production.
The development team who have created the D2K Insight explain more about the features that set it apart from the competition.
Our goal in making the D2K Insight is to provide regular people like artist, artisans and small business owners access to a reliable, ultra high resolution 3D printer at a price that won’t break the bank. The D2K Insight 3D printer is the sleek, reliable and affordable consumer solution to producing professional quality 3D objects.
The Stabilizer on top of the Z axis and the Gear gaps remover bolt ensure precision accuracy during the printing process. Your 3D objects will all be uniform. The Stabilizer is firmly fixed the moving Z axis without vibration, the Gap remover is to get rid of the gear gaps. These 2 important components are costly but it provides amazing steady than ever.
Super Fast Leveling – In DLP-SLA 3D printing technology, Build platform Leveling is one of decisive essentials on how you can get high successful print rate. Our re-designed print head uses a universal ball joint that makes adjustments easy and quick that it’s only a minute.
Other 3D Printers use several printed circuit boards (PCB), meaning there are dozens of cables and connections, a flaw in any one them or synchronization errors will result in a printing failure. To avoid this we developed our own motherboard, there is only one piece of integrated PCB inside of the D2K Insight , providing a smooth, steady and reliable printing experience.
The D2K Insight DLP 3D printer is now available to back my Kickstarter with pledges available from just under $600 and shipping expected to take place during February 2018. Jump over to the official Kickstarter campaign page by following the link below.
