D-Link has announced the availability for its latest router called the Cloud Router 5700. The new router supports 802.11ac technology making it much faster than previous 802.11n routers. The router is backwards compatible with older Wi-Fi protocols. The 5700 promises speeds of up to 1750 Mbps.
The D-Link router uses 5 GHz bandwidth for less interference in a clear connection. It also supports IPv6 and is backwards compatible allowing you to keep your current device is connected. The router has four gigabit Ethernet ports and the user can remotely monitor and control the network using the mydlink Lite App.
The router also has a complete set of security features with an SPI firewall and WPA2. The router is available online right now for $189.99.
