Wolf Tooth Components has created a small and compact multitool designed specifically for cyclists to make alterations to their chains when required. The Master Link Combo Pliers are available to purchase priced at $29.95, but due to demand the second batch of pliers has already sold out. Preorders placed now are expected to be shipped around February 15th, 2018.
The Pack Pliers multitool have been developed to provide functions that are not typically available on a cycling multitools, offering a tire lever, valve core remover, valve stem lock nut wrench and master link pliers. All housed in a lightweight, compact and rugged enclosure which can easily be carried in pocket or pouch. A magnetic fastening system holds the master links securely in place and helps self close the multitool.
Storage is also available within the Pack Pliers for two sets of masterlinks, with room available for fits 10, 11, and 12 speed links. The Wolf Pliers are available in a number of different finishes and are constructed from 7075-T6 aluminium and Type II anodised with a laser cut logo, measuring 116 x 20 x 9mm and weighting 38g. Wolf Tooth Components recommends that the multitool not be used on carbon rims.
