Back in the old days if you wanted music in every room of your house you had to do it with wires that generally needed to be installed before the walls were covered with sheetrock. Today we can use wireless tech to get music all around the house with a bunch of different offerings including several wireless devices from Creative.
Creative has added a new wireless speaker to its line called the Creative D220W Wireless Speaker. This thing is aimed at the user wanting to get music into multiple rooms of the home and still get decent sound quality. The speaker works with an included USB wireless transmitter that will also work with other Creative wireless speakers that are on the market.
That USB adapter supports Mac and Windows machines and has a 100-foot wireless range. The speaker can be used to stream any audio source you want to the speaker including iTunes, Hulu, YouTube, as well as your personal media library. The speaker is designed like a sound bar with a glossy piano black case and promises deep bass. The D220W will ship in Q4 for $169.99 including the wireless receiver.
