Corsair has this week unveiled a new device it has created that combines a number of solutions in to one handy product named the Corsair Voyager Air, that features a wireless drive, home network attached storage, USB drive, and wireless hub.
The Corsair Voyager Air is fitted with either 500GB or 1TB of storage and is equipped with a a rechargeable battery, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB 3.0 connectivity, for portability and fast connectivity.
The Voyager Air allows multiple users to enjoy stored media via its self-contained streaming media server with built-in wireless hub via a secure 802.11n/b/g Wi-Fi connection, with no internet connection required.
The hub has a range of 90 feet, and can stream high-definition video to up to five devices at once, with 7 hours of video streaming provided by a single charge of its internal battery.
” Media stored on Voyager Air may be accessed directly from a PC or Mac, or with a free Corsair app, streamed to Android devices or Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. Voyager Air can quick be connected to a home network for easy access to media from network-enabled smart TVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, DVRs, and streaming media boxes. Available in 500GB and 1TB models, Voyager Air provides enough storage to hold up to 800 full-length HD movies or 380,000 MP3 files.”
The Corsair Voyager Air will be arriving in stores during next month and will be priced at $199 for 500GB models and $229 for 1TB model.
