It’s a big challenge for gamers and multimedia fans who have notebooks to keep their machines cool. Some notebooks can get so hot if you sit them on your lap that it’s actually uncomfortable. You can’t throw extra fans inside a notebook like you can a desktop PC so you need to take other measures.
Cooler Master has a new notebook cooler that is called the NotePal Infinite Evo Laptop Cooler. The thing is silver and black wedge that lifts the screen in the back for more comfortable viewing. The notebook cooler also has a pair of 80mm fans inside that blow air through the slits in the face of the cooler directly onto the hot bottom side of the notebook.
The stand is sized to work with notebooks using screens up to 17-inches. The fans inside the Evo are powered by your notebook USB port. On the side of the cooler are three more USB ports so you don’t lose a plug, rather you will gain two. The MSRP on the Evo is $49.99 and the cooler will ship soon.
