Hardware manufacturer Seagate has this week introduced the new Seagate BarraCuda Consumer SATA solid state drives (SSD) which are available in various storage capacities offering 250, 500, 1TB and 2TB capacities. Although Seagate has been a little selective with the exact specifications unveiled today, the new drives are expected to come with 64L 3D TLC NAND flash memory and a controller with the usual DRAM cache.
