Chrysler is on hand at CES 2017 and has unveiled a new concept vehicle called the Portal. This concept looks like a space-age minivan and it has doors that slide in opposite directions for unencumbered access to the interior of the vehicle.
Portal is meant to sit six people and promises a range of 250 miles per charge. That is an impressive driving range and Chrysler also claims that the fast charging can get another 150 miles of range in 20 minutes.
That certainly isn’t as fast as fueling up your car, but it’s not bad for an EV. The infotainment system is made in cooperation with Panasonic. The car has self-driving capability with Level 3 autonomous skills meaning on highways the driver doesn’t need to pay attention.
