The world of drab and outdated calculators is in for quite a jolt once the Prizm fx-CG10 hits stores come January 2011. What makes it stand apart from its unfashionable predecessors is a swanky high-resolution 65,367-color 3.7″ display.
Take note, this is a graphing calculator, which means it does more than help you with basic arithmetic and whatnot. The Prizm fx-CG10 can do much, much more. How about a rundown of its alluring features? Done.
First is the new Picture Plot technology where you have the choice of 55 different images that the calculator graphs for you. Call it a math lesson in the palm of your hand.
Second is a process quite difficult to explain, so we’ll just leave you with an assurance that you can produce color coded graphs on the Prim.
Third, you can display your calculations on a screen (for classroom/conference use) without connecting the Prizm to a PC. Convenient, anyone?
Fourth and last is a very impressive battery life of 150 hours.
Now if you’re itching for a Prizm fx-CG10, better have your $129.99 saved come early 2011.
