Today Casio have unveiled their new Exilim EX-ZR15 compact camera on which they have concentrated on providing quick start-up times and minimising the power-on and focus delays normally associated with digital camera.
Once the Exilim EX-ZR15 is turned on its ready to take photographs in 0.99 of a second. Making sure you never miss that all important action while out and about. The Casio Exilim EX-ZR15 can also be in focus in around 0.13 seconds which is currently the fastest focus time to date of a compact camera.
It also only needs about 0.29 seconds in-between shots to prepare itself for the next, keeping downtime to a minimum. The Exilim EX-ZR15 will be arriving in gold on September 22nd in Japan for around $520 (¥40,000) and in red, black or white in October.
