During October this year Canon will be launching a new mirrorless camera in the form of the Canon M100 which will be available to purchase from $599 in both black-and-white finishes.
The new Canon M100 is equipped with a 22.3 x 14.9mm CMOS offering approximately 24.2 megapixels and is fitted with the EF-M lens mount (EF and EF-S lenses compatible via Mount adapter EF-EOS M) and offers a focal length equivalent to 1.6x the focal length of the lens.
Other features include an Optical Image Stabiliser on compatible lens and for movies enhanced 3-axis Digital IS with compatible lenses, with Dual Pixel CMOS AF System with phase detection pixels built onto the imaging sensor.
Modes on the M100 include :
