The developing team at Canary have this week announced a new partnership between Canary and Noonlight which has allowed Canary to add a new SOS feature to their iOS application. The new Safety Button has been created and implemented to add a new layer of personal security, extending beyond the home. Providing you and your family with a “personal safety net no matter where you or they may be”, explains Canary. Watch the audio below to learn more about the new SOS feature powered by Noonlight.
“Easy to access and activate from Canary’s home screen, the Safety Button immediately notifies first responders with your GPS location, personal information, and any contextual data necessary in the case of an emergency, ensuring a speedy and accurate response from the authorities. No matter where you or your loved ones are, the Safety Button is a personal safety net—providing near instantaneous connection with first responders”
As a standalone application Noonlight’s service usually costs $3 per month per user, but the Safety Button is available now for free to all U.S. Canary paying members. For more information on the new Canary SOS feature jump over to the official Canary blog by following the link below
