During Gamescom 2013 the interactive games and entertainment event which is currently in full swing Activision has announced that gamers will be able to upgrade PS3 copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts for just $10 to be able to pay it on the new PlayStation 4 console that is launching in the US on November 15th.
Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, Inc explained in todays announcement:
“Today we’re announcing that anyone who buys Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS3 will be able to upgrade to Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS4 for a limited time at a suggested retail price of just $10, €10, or £10”
The new next generation PlayStation 4 console will be launching on November 15th 2013 in the US and slightly later throughout Europe on November 29th 2013. The Sony PlayStation 4 console is priced at $399, €399, and £349 depending on your location.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launching on PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on November 5th, 2013 and will also be available for the next generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
