Activision has today announced and detailed three special editions for their new Call Of Duty: Black Ops II first-person shooter game that is currently in development.
Black Ops II will be available in three special editions: the PC Digital Deluxe Edition, the Hardened Edition, both costing $80, and the Care Package Edition for $180. Watch the video after the jump for more details.
Hardened Edition Features
The Hardened Edition offers gamers the game, to get you started together with a wealth of extras including the Nuketown Zombie and Nuketown 2025 maps. These maps are fan favorites, providing a nostalgic yet thrilling experience for long-time players of the series. The Nuketown maps are known for their fast-paced, close-quarters combat, making them a staple in the Call of Duty franchise.
In addition to the maps, the Hardened Edition includes a steel wallet for your gaming disk, ensuring that your game is protected in style. A copy of the Black Ops II soundtrack is also included, allowing fans to enjoy the game’s music outside of gameplay. The soundtrack features a mix of intense and atmospheric tracks that enhance the gaming experience.
Gamers will also receive 2 x limited edition challenge coins, which provide access to exclusive digital content. These coins are not just collectibles; they unlock special in-game items that can give players a unique edge. Additionally, two player card backgrounds and a multiplayer weapon skin are included, allowing players to customize their in-game appearance and stand out in multiplayer matches.
Care Package Edition Features
The Call Of Duty: Black Ops II Care Package Edition is the same as the $80 Hardened Edition but includes an awesome emote-controlled MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone for you to fly about, just like within the game. This drone is a standout feature, offering a tangible connection to the in-game experience. The MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone is a quadrotor drone that players can control using emotes, making it a fun and interactive addition to the game.
The Care Package Edition also comes in a special crate that mimics the in-game care packages, adding to the overall immersive experience. This edition is perfect for hardcore fans who want to bring a piece of the game into the real world. The crate itself is a collector’s item, designed to be both functional and visually appealing.
