Liquidware have created a DIY tablet kit for just under $400 that provides you with all the technology you need to create your very own 4.3 inch touch screen tablet device.
The Beagle Tablet kit created and supplied by Liquidware is a portable modular open source handheld computer and is completely modular snapping on or mounting directly to the BeagleBoard C4, resulting in a compact handheld tablet computer.
Each kit contains a 4.3-inch OLED touchscreen that mounts directly on a BeagleBoard, a single board computer from Texas Instruments that comes with a 1 GHz processor. There’s also a battery module and a 4 GB pre-formatted SD card that either Android OS or Linuxcan be installed on for operating your new tablet.
