BMW has announced the pricing on the first BMW 8 Series luxury sports coupe in 20 years. The car is the 2019 BMW M850i xDrive and it will start at $111,900 plus a $995 destination and handling charge. The car will hit showrooms on December 8.
Standard equipment includes full LED headlights with BMW LaserLight technology, Merino Leather upholstery, sixteen speaker Harman Kardon audio system, sport automatic transmission with active-roll stabilization. M Sport brakes are standard along with parking assist and BMW Live Cockpit Professional with a 12.3-inch and 10.25-inch digital display.
Other standard features include navigation and the latest version of iDrive. Options for the car, which aren’t priced, include Driving Assistant Professional, a 1,400-watt Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, glass controls for gear selector, iDrive, start/stop, and volume. This car can be fitted with a carbon roof, the first time that option has been available on a non-M model. A carbon fiber exterior trim package is also available.
