Travelling can be tedious job, but the folks at Bluesmart aims to make this process a little easier, thanks to their connected suitcase which can pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and offer a handful features. The suitcase features a built-in GPS chips to help you locate the suitcase no matter where you are, as well as weight sensors within the handle to help you make sure it’s not overweight, and meets the international travelling requirements.
The project first made its way to Indiegogo where it managed to reach the funding goal. The company has managed to raise more than $2 million in funding with most of it coming from Indiegogo where the company raised over $1.3 million.
This can be an excellent travelling companion for users who travel often, and need enough compartments to store their belongings, their clothes, devices, laptop and more. Furthermore, the suitcase has a 10,000 mAh batter with two USB ports, allowing you to charge multiple devices simultaneously.
The suitcase costs $280 at the moment, but it’s expected to rise to $400, so if you want it, it’s better to get it before the price hikes — there’s shipping cost involved too so you may end up paying a little high depending on your location. Those who backed the project on Indiegogo are expected to get the shipments sometime in August, but users interested in Bluesmart can pre-order the suitcase from the company’s website.
