When BlackBerry announced their new BlackBerry 10 OS and the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, they also introduced another handset, the BlackBerry Q10, which is a QWERTY device that is yet to launch.
According to a recent report, it looks like US mobile carrier T-Mobile will be offering the BlackBerry Q10 from May of this year. Of course, this has yet to be officially confirmed by T-Mobile.
The BlackBerry Q10 is powered by RIM’s new BlackBerry 10 OS, and it features a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage. There is also a 3.1-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels and a QWERTY keyboard.
Specifications and Features
Other specifications on the BlackBerry Q10 include the same cameras as on the BlackBerry Z10. Up front, there is a 2-megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom and the ability to record HD video in 720p. On the back of the device is an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus, 5x digital zoom, and full HD video recording in 1080p. This makes the Q10 a versatile device for both professional and personal use, offering high-quality imaging capabilities.
