The Android Marshmallow update for the BlackBerry Priv has been in beta testing for about a month and now BlackBerry has announced that it is rolling out the update to the device.
The update comes in the form of Android 6.0 and it is now available to download from ShopBlackBerry, it will also be released for all major carrier from the 3rd of May.
As well as Android Marshmallow the update also comes with a range of improved security features and enhancements from Blackberry.
Keeping with BlackBerry’s focus on security, we’ve been able to not only leverage the enhanced privacy, security and usability features that come with Marshmallow, but also to bring several additional improvements to key product features. Take a look at the features we’ve added to security, BlackBerry keyboard, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Launcher, battery performance and camera features in PRIV’s flavor of Marshmallow.
