BlackBerry Leap is set to launch in the UK later this month, and some third-party retailers are already taking pre-orders for the device.
Recently, the company officially started taking pre-orders of the BlackBerry Leap through Shop BlackBerry store for £199.00 incl. VAT.
The handset is expected to hit retail in several other countries following the UK, including Germany, France, the U.S., Canada, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and India.
The handset comes with a budget-friendly price tag, and a decent set of specifications, including a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,280 by 720 pixels with the processing handled by a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 CPU with the Adreno 225 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
BlackBerry Leap offers users with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card of up to 128GB. Other notable features includes an 8MP camera with 1080p video recording capabilities, 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,800 mAh battery and ships with BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 out of the box.
At the moment, the handset is available for pre-orders in black with the device shipments expected to commence by April 24th, a few days before other retailers who are taking pre-orders of the handset in the UK.
