Irrational Games has announced that the new Bioshock Infinite game will not be a port from the Xbox 360 or PC version. But a fully in-house developed version specifically for the PS3.
When Bioshock was imported from the Xbox 360 version to PS3 nearly a year after its original launched on PC and Xbox. The game was riddled with graphical problems and even crashed out completely in certain circumstances.
Irrational Games technical Director Chris Kline has explained : “We have a much larger team than we did on the original BioShock, so we’re doing simultaneous in-house development on the PS3, 360, and PC versions of the game.”
Which is great news for PS3 gamers who will now finally being given a compatible stable game with the new release of Bioshock Infinite.
