Cyclists searching for a quick way to change the functionality of their handlebars and also quickly save space when storing and transporting their bike in a vehicle, may be interested in a unique handlebar design aptly named Billibars. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the space-saving detachable handlebars that have this week taken to Kickstarter to raise the required $15,000 to make the jump into production.
Designed with removable arms that reduce their width from 420 mm to just 170 mm, while still offering three styles of handlebars that are quickly interchangeable, thanks to the unique “middle base” system. Billibars are now available to back with pledges starting from $79 or £56 for a set of early bird Billibars. Unfortunately at the current time shipping is only throughout the United States and is expected to take place during August 2018 if manufacture goes smoothly. Let’s hope that after the Kickstarter campaign is successful Billibars can be made available for cyclists worldwide.
“Another cool feature of Billibars is our unique, patented wall mount that utilizes the removed handlebars to hold your bike securely and closely to the wall. This mount is compatible with drop, bullhorn, and straight handlebars and is an awesome way to show off your bike in any living space!” For more information and full specifications of the unique Billibars handlebar system jump over to the official Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign page by following the link below.
