UK residents who have been waiting patiently for the arrival of the new Barnes & Noble Nook HD And HD+ tablets within the UK, will be pleased to learn that from today the new devices are available to purchase across the UK.
Both the Barnes & Noble Nook HD And Nook HD+ tablet provide users with access to the Nook bookstore with 2.5 million books on offer to purchase.
Together with a large selection of magazines and applications to run on your devices, as well as Nook Video, offering a wide variety of popular films and TV shows that are available to either purchase or rent at your leisure, from early December 2012.
In a press release issued today Barnes & Noble explained : “Customers across the UK will now be able to experience this first-hand in top high street retailers, and the tablets will start arriving throughout the week to customers who pre-ordered the devices online. The tablets are arriving on shelves in John Lewis, Argos, Asda, Dixons, Sainsbury, Waitrose, Blackwell’s and Foyles and they are also available to purchase through www.nook.co.uk.”
The Nook HD+ is available in 16GB for £229 or 32GB for £269, the Nook HD 7-inch tablet is also available in two colours, Snow and Smoke , and is priced at £159 for the 8GB model and £189 for the 16GB edition.
