If you have lots of paper documents, books or notes you need to digitise, you may be interested in the Aura scanner. A new desktop scanner launched via Kickstarter this week that is capable of processing up to 300 pages in just 20 minutes. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the scanner which has been designed by a team based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Aura scanner

Launched via Kickstarter this week the Aura scanner is now available to back with earlybird pledges available from $295 or £232 with free shipping included and worldwide delivery expected to take place during September 2019.

Features of the Aura scanner include the ability to :

– Digitize books without unbinding them. Convert them to PDF and editable Word (2.5sec/page)
– Scan a wide range of documents and objects up to A3 size
– Doubles as a versatile lamp with 4 light settings

“Why do I need Aura when my smartphone can also do the job? If you only have to scan one or two flat documents / photos once in a while, it makes economic sense to use a free APP. But if your documents are curly or you have to scan books and you don’t want to spend days scanning them, our product is a much better solution. Because we have a proprietary book curve flattening algorithm and other AI technology that helps save time and effort.”
