It looks like Asus has added another Android tablet to its range with the launch of the Asus Tough, which is designed to be water and dust proof as well as shock proof, and it will come with Android Honeycomb 3.2.
The Asus Tough tablet features a 7 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.
Other specifications on the Asus Tough include 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot, a 5 megapixel camera on the back for video and photos, GOS, Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and a 7,400 mAh battery.
The Asus Tough is expected to go on sale in Japan in quarter four with Japanese carrier KDDi, there are no details on pricing as yet.
