Asus has today announced the launch of a new range of Republic of Gamers peripherals in the form of their new Asus ROG Gladius gaming mouse and ROG GK2000 gaming keyboard.
The GK2000 gaming keyboard is equipped with Cherry MX Reds with a macro-capable system and built-in anti-ghosting technology and is fitted with a lighting that can be programmed with five different effects depending on your preferences.
“GK2000 allows users to customize almost all keys, and multiple actions can be applied to each one, meaning even complex sequences can be enacted with one touch. Built-in anti-ghosting technology ensures that every key press counts.”
Asus say they have designed their new ROG Gladius gaming mouse specifically to provide gamers with an ergonomic precision gaming mouse which is capable of polling at 200 Hz and is sufficient for up to 50G acceleration.
“Gladius is designed to fit the right hand perfectly and is manufactured with smooth-touch materials that stay cool in the hand, while high-quality, Mayan-patterned rubber ensures a secure grip. A fingertip DPI switch, all-programmable buttons, including two side-mounted switches, complete the epic ergonomics and impressive functionality.
It is even customizable, with an exclusive socket design that lets users slot in new or favorite switches to set their ideal click resistance, plus the unique detachable cable design allows gamers to remove the connecting cable for tidier transport.”
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Asus for their new gaming peripherals, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
