Asus has this week added a new addition to their range of mini PCs, in the form of the newly launched fanless Asus E210 that will soon be available to purchase installed with either Windows Embedded 8 Standard, Windows Embedded Standard 7, or freeDOS.
However if you are looking for a small fanless mini PC then the Asus E210 is most probably capable of running most operating systems including Linux distros to suit your requirements.
Asus has equipped their new fanless mini PC with an Intel Celeron N2807 dual-core processor, supported by up to 4GB of RAM together with a fast solid state disk (SSD) with a capacities of up to 128GB.
Connectivity is provided by HDMI and VGA ports, Ethernet jack, 3 x USB 2.0 and 1 x USB 3.0 ports together with support for 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. other features include a 1 litre sized chassis with rotatable VESA-mount to maximise workspaces and placement measuring 8.6 x 6.8 x 1.1 in size and weighing 1.5lbs. Asus explains :
