Aston Martin is launching a new limited edition Vantage to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Spitfire, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Spitfire 80.
The company will build 8 Vantage S Spitfire 80 cars and each one will come win Duxford green with yellow accents.
Duxford is the first airbase where the spitfires were launched and the yellow stripe is designed to indicate the traditional Spitfire livery.
The car comes with a number of exclusive features, include a ‘bloom effect’ exhaust which is designed to match the sound of the Spitfires exhaust.
The Vantage S Spitfire 80 will have a top speed of 205 miles per hour and a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of just 3.9 seconds. This limited edition Vantage will carry a £40,000 premium over the standard car and will cost £180,000.Filed Under: Auto News
