Today Ubisoft is releasing another major update to its excellent Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game which brings with it a wealth of new enhancements, tweaks and improvements as well as changing the controversial DLC ending. Unfortunately for Ubisoft the company received a backlash against the ending of Odyssey’s DLC episode Shadow Heritage in January, when the storyline force them into a specific relationship option.
Listening to feedback Ubisoft answered fans and has now amended the controversial ending, making it possible for the relationship to remain exclusively non-romantic. The latest patch for the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game Patch 1.1.4 will roll out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later today and will be roughly 5GB in size depending on your platform.
Another new feature being added in this latest update is the highly anticipated New Game+ feature which allows you to restart the game with all your gear. “Players will be able to keep their current progression (Gear, Mounts, Spear upgrades, Ship upgrades, Abilities, Drachmae, Crafting Materials, etc.) when starting a New Game+.” To access New Game+, you’ll need to have completed the Family Quest Line.
