The new Assassin’s Creed 3 game which has been unveiled over the last week by Ubisoft and a few leaked posters. Is now thought to include a new 2-4 player co-op gameplay mode.
The feature was discovered by the Eurogamer website, who spotted a listing on the Xbox.com website which listed the new co-op mode, before the listing was hastily removed. View the recent trailer after the jump to see what the Assassin’s Creed 3 game will bring once launched later this year.
Ubisoft at the moment has not officially confirmed the new feature, so it could have been a mistake by the Xbox.com website or just published early. Eurogamer explains:
“Online co-operative play for two to four players is mentioned. Is this a separate wilderness-roaming mode, similar to Red Dead Redemption? Or perhaps your friends will be able to join your campaign at certain points?
Standard online multiplayer for up to eight players will also return, similar to the last two Assassin’s Creed titles, Brotherhood and Revelations.”
