First introduced back in May of this year ASRock has now made available their new ASRock Beebox mini PC which is powered by an Intel Celeron N3000 Braswell processor.
The Intel processor within the mini PC can be supported by up to 8 GB of RAM and is now available to purchase priced at $140 from sites such as Newegg.
The tiny PC measures just 110 x 46 x 118.5mm in size and is equipped with a passive cooling system making the computer very quiet during operation. As well as the barebones systems which are now available, ASRock is also going to make available complete systems that include storage, memory and Microsoft’s latest Windows operating.
Theses systems are priced from $250 for 4GB RAM, 120GB solid state disk (SSD) to $800 for 8GB RAM with 1TB SSD or 2TB HDD. Specifications and connectivity for the small mini desktop PCs include :
– Celeron N3000 (2 cores @ 1.04 GHz, up to 2.08 GHz)
– 2 x DDR3L SO-DIMM slots (up to 8GB)
– 1 x 2.5″ bay
– 3 x USB 3.0 ports
– 1 x USB 3.0 (Type-C) port
– 2 x HDMI
– 1 x Display port
– 1 x Gigabit Ethernet
– Wifi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac
– Bluetooth 4.0
