Hardware manufacturer Archos has unveiled a new all in one PC system at MWC 2018 this week, which takes the form of the Archos Vision 215. Which combines a 21.5-inch display with a mini PC equipped with an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 1.92 GHz processor. The small mini PC is situated on the rear of the screen and come supplied pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 Home Edition operating system.
The display of the Archos Vision 215 offers users a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in 16:9 and is powered by an Intel HD Graphics 400 graphics chip combined with the Intel quad-core processor supported by 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of eMMc internal storage. The onboard storage can be expanded further up to 256GB thanks to its compatibility with any 2.5-inch SATA hard drive and its Micro SD card slot. Archos explains “this all-in-one PC comes in elegant design, easy to install at the heart of a home to be enjoyed by all members of the household, in order to use online services, interact with their favorite content, texts, music tracks, photos, videos or to achieve main tasks for school or the office”.
Other features of the all in one mini PC and display system include connections via 5 x USB ports, 1 x HDMI output as well as connectivity via support for wireless, Bluetooth and Ethernet Lan. The Archos Vision 215 is expected to be made available during May 2018 with prices starting from €299.
