If you have ever wanted to run Android applications on a different operating systems you may be interested in a new Chrome web browser application created by Google called ARC Welder Chrome App.
Once installed ARC Welder Chrome App is capable of enabling you to run Android applications in all the major platforms including Chrome OS, Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
The ARC Welder Chrome App, enables developers to run their applications APK file in Chrome OS and the Chrome browser to test compatibility and make adjustments before finally launching the app to the Chrome Web Store. Google explains :
“The App Runtime for Chrome (Beta), or ARC, lets you run your favorite Android apps on Chrome OS. By following these steps, you can try out the App Runtime for Chrome (Beta) during this Developer Preview. To test your app, you need three things: Your APK, PC, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook on Chrome Version 40+ and The ARC Welder app.”
