It looks like there is an issue with Apple’s Safari crashing on the iPhone, iPad and also the Mac for many users.
There are a number of reports of the problem on both iOS devices and Macs, the issues is apparently related to Safari Suggestions.
If you have been experiencing Safari crashing on your iPhone, iPad or Mac you can temporarily fix the issue b y turning off the Safari suggestions feature.
On iOS this can be done by going to Settings > Safari and turning off Safari Suggestions. This can also be done on the Mac by opening Safari and then going to Preferences > Search and then deselect Safari Suggestions.
As yet there are no details from Apple on what the issue is, it appears to be affecting a number of different versions of iOS and also OS X.
