We recently heard about the new iTunes Pass feature which Apple launched in Japan, the company has now also launched the service in the U.S. and other countries.
As well as the U.S. iTunes Pass is now available in Australia, and some users have also reported seeing it in the UK, Canada and Germany, Apple is obviously in the processor of rolling it out to a number of countries.
We just checked the UK iTunes store and iTunes Pass was available on our account, as you can see in the photo above, the service will let you add credit to your iTunes account in an Apple Store without having to buy an iTunes Gift card, Apple explains below how the new feature works.
To get iTunes Pass, go to the iTunes Store on your iOS device, scroll down, and tap the Redeem button. Then go in to any Apple Retail Store3 and let a Specialist know you want to add credit to your account. Open iTunes Pass in Passbook, and have the Specialist scan it and accept your payment. Your balance will be updated and can be used immediately.
You can find out more details about the new iTunes Pass over at Apple at the link below, it should be rolled out to more countries shortly.
