Apple has released the latest iOS adoption figures on its developer website and the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 9 is now on 66 percent of all iOS devices.
The last figures we heard were almost two weeks ago where iOS 9 usage was at almost 60 percent so Apple have seen a decent increase in the last two weeks.
The rest of the iOS distribution is made up of iOS 8 which is now on 25 percent of Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and older versions of Apple’s mobile OS are on just 9 percent of devices.
It would appear that iOS 9 adoption is quicker than the release of iOS 8 last year, although there were a few bugs with the initial release of iOS 8 which stopped people upgrading initially.
