It looks like the new iOS 11.3 software update will be released today. Apple normally releases betas of iOS and macOS at the same time. Apple has recently released their macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 beta 7, they have not released a seventh beta of iOS 11.3.
This is a good indication that we will not see another beta of iOS 11.3 and the next release of the software will be a final release. It is over a week since the sixth beta of the software was released, so it would appear that we will see the final version of the software later today.
Apple are holding a press event later today which will focus on education. The company will be unveiling their new cheaper 9.7 inch iPad at the event. The device is rumored to cost around $259, the current entry level iPad retails for $329.
This event is a good time for Apple to also release the latest version of iOS, so we suspect that we will see the update later today. The update will bring a range of new features to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and this is the largest update since the release of iOS 11.
Included in the new iOS 11.3 software will be Apple’s new battery management feature. This will give you more information about your batteries health and also some options to manage the battery. It will let you know if your battery needs replace and more. The update will also include four new Animoji, these will include a dragon, bear, lion. Plus ARKit 1.5 and support for messages in iCloud.
As soon as we get some more information on exactly when the new iOS 11.3 software update is coming, we will let you guys know.
