Apple’s iOS 11.1 will bring a range of new features to the iPhone and iPad. This will include some new Emoji and the new Apple Pay Cash.
Apple Pay Cash will let you send mobile payments to basically anyone who has Apple Pay, it can be done using Siri, in the Messages app and more.
Apple have been testing out their new Apple pay cash feature internally and now the company has expanded the trial to their Apple Store staff.This new mobile payment system is designed to work in a similar way to PayPal, you can send your friends or family money quickly using your Apple Pay account.
When you send money with Apple Pay Cash it is sent from your debit or credit card and when you receive money it is received in your Apple Pay Wallet. You can then either withdraw the money to your bank or use it with Apple Pay to make purchases.
We are expecting the new iOS 11.1 software update to land some time soon, it could possibly be released this month or early next month. Apple are launching their new iPhone X on the 3rd of November and we suspect iOS 11.1 could land at the same time. As soon as we get some details on exactly when the update is coming, we will let you guys know.
