Apple’s [AAPL] iPad is due to go on sale in the UK this Friday, although a number of people in the UK already have the iPad which was imported they haven’t been able to download one of the coolest apps available for it, Apple’s iBooks.
Apple has finally added their iBooks application to the UK iTunes store and it is now available as a free download, and lets you turn your iPad into an eBook reader.
iBooks is an amazing way to download and read books, designed exclusively for iPad. iBooks includes the iBookstore, where you can download the latest best-selling books or your favorite classics – day or night. Browse your library on a beautiful bookshelf, tap a book to open it, flip through pages with a swipe or a tap, and bookmark your favorite passages.
