Yesterday Apple released its latest version of its Mac operating system, OS X Lion, and Lion is already the top download in the Mac App Store, and it is only available as a digital download from the Mac App Store at the moment.
The OS X lion download is around 3.7GB in size, which is fine for people with fast connections, Apple has now confirmed that they will sell a version of OS X Lion from August on a USB thumb drive.
The Lion USB thumb drive will carry a premium over the download version of OS X Lion, which is available from the Mac App Store at a cost of $29.99, whilst the USB thumb drive version of Lion will retail for $6 when it hits Apple retail stores and the Apple store online in August.
